Why do we give as a Church?

The early church gathered in the aftermath of the resurrection and Pentecost, and listened to God’s word every day (Acts 2:42- 47). As they do that, they are moved to radical generosity. The rest of the New Testament makes it clear that giving is a way of showing love to others, of worshipping God for his generosity to us, and an expression of practical trust in him. Please do speak to the elders if you’d like to talk more about that.

What am I giving to?

At Trinity, we’re self-supporting as a church family. This means that all of our staff costs, rent for the building, running costs and support for other causes, are provided for by the sustained and generous giving of the church family. We’re incredibly grateful for our givers, and the way that their joyful generosity is a response to Jesus’ sacrifice.
